	Description

	Glycine, along with cysteine, has the ability to stimulate glutathione synthesis in the body. Glutathione is an important constituent in antioxidant and detoxification systems in all living things. Kirkman® offers the highest quality, chemically pure glycine available. Our capsules are hypoallergenic, specially formulated for individuals with special requirements or sensitivities. They are made from plant cellulose (pine) instead of the traditional animal gelatin shell. Glycine's ability to stimulate glutathione production makes it important in supporting healthy hepatic and kidney function. Glycine is an inhibitory neurotransmitter and is also involved in the production of DNA.
