	Description

	DRN Vitamin/Mineral LDA Basic Supplement was developed at the request of Dr. James Neubrander for use with his Supplement Review Program. The program was created by Rick Neubrander for the doctor’s patients. It is based on Dr. Neubrander’s recommended nutrient program, in which the dosage is based on the weight of the patient. This formulation does not contain vitamin C and is hypoallergenic. All the other ingredients are the same as Kirkman’s Basic Vitamin /Mineral Basic Supplement hypoallergenic capsules (Product #: 359/360). The LDA version should be used only when Dr. Neubrander prescribes it. IMPORTANT This product contains vitamin A from Beta Carotene only. No retinol form is present. This product does not contain any form of folic acid, calcium, or iron. These are important and necessary nutrients for good health. Check with your physician for instructions on how to supplement these essential nutrients. The Supplement Review Program for which this product is formulated was created by Rick Neubrander for Dr. James Neubrander’s patients. Patients of other physicians using Dr. Neubrander’s DRN program should consult with their own doctor for dosage recommendations. Dr. Neubrander’s dosage recommendations are enclosed with the product. This product has been formulated by Kirkman® for Dr. Neubrander as a service to his patients. The doctor receives no monetary compensation for sales of the product. Directions for use Swallow capsules or disperse powder from the capsules in water or the beverage of your choice and drink immediately. Mix vigorously until powder is dispersed thoroughly. Your physician will vary dosage based on child’s weight. It is recommended that the dose be divided in thirds or in half, depending on the patient’s schedule. One-third dose, three times daily; or one-half dose, twice daily are the preferred schedules. Some parents use twice a day dosing on weekdays and three times per day on weekends. DRN’s weight chart for dosage listed as follows: Standard dose for a 52 pound child is six capsules. Children weighing 40 pounds, use 75% of the six capsule dose Children weighing 30 pounds, use 50% of the six capsule dose Children weighing 20 pounds, use 25% of the six capsule dose Children weighing 90 pounds, use 125% of the six capsule dose Children weighing 125 pounds, use 150% of the six capsule dose Weights falling in between these ranges will require some approximation on the parent’s part. Slight variances are not of nutritional significance. “Place setting” teaspoons are not uniform, therefore baking spoons are preferred. Check with the physician’s office if questions arise. Other Ingredients: Silicon Dioxide.
