Cookies for the cause is an answer to an idea
that came to me while brainstorming a way to
raise funds for families with autism. As a single
parent to a son with autism, I know personally
of the financial crisis most families face trying to
pay for treatments for their children. The market
has been flooded with awareness products, and
I could not envision keychains and magnets
supporting my goal.
What was needed was a sustainable product
that would provide the means to provide
tangible support for families suffering under the
financial burden of autism.
Cookies for the Cause is a result of the many
days I spent in my kitchen experimenting with
recipes. I wanted to bake homemade cookies
for my son, but with his many food intolerances,
which are so common in autism, I simply
could not find a cookie mix that met his needs
on the store shelf, so I created my own.
A portion of the proceeds from Cookies for the
Cause is donated for direct support for families
with autism. Real support for real families.
Cookies for the cause is proud to bring you our
first cookie mix, Old Fashioned Sugar Cookies.
They are delicious and we’re told they taste just
like the wheat variety your grandma used to
bake. I conducted many taste tests, baking and
carrying my cookies everywhere. These cookies
have gotten rave reviews from families of kids
with autism and food allergies, as well as the
general public. Most recently, the cookies
traveled to a meeting of the DAN! Think Tank
where they received 100% positive feedback.
You will love these cookies, and you can feel
good purchasing them, knowing you are
supporting families with every purchase.
