Description

Basically, Trimethylglycine (TMG) is Dimethylglycine (DMG) with one more methyl group. The chemical structure of TMG is therefore is actually a glycine molecule holding onto three methyl groups, so like DMG, TMG is considered a "methyl donor" or methyl "bank".
