Kirkman's Super Nu-Thera® Powder Hypoallergenic

Many parents and professionals have been asking Kirkman to formulate a hypoallergenic version of Super Nu-Thera powder. We have actually been working on such a formulation for a long time, but have found that because a hypoallergenic formula can not use flavorings or artificial sweeteners, making such a product reasonably palatable has been a challenge. Our hard work has paid off. Kirkman now offers a hypoallergenic Super Nu-Thera powder which tastes pretty good and dissolves in various liquids extremely well. The ease in dissolving is a great improvement over past Super Nu-Thera powders which left a residue. This product incorporates all of the latest clinical advances including the incorporation of the biochemically active form of folate, and the inclusion of iodine in the formulation. For those individuals unable to swallow capsules or caplets, this product offers another choice in a hypoallergenic formulation.

What is unique about Super Nu-Thera®?

Super Nu-Thera® is a multiple vitamin/mineral supplement featuring B-6, and magnesium. Super Nu-Thera® also contains the rest of the B-vitamins, vitamin C, the oil soluble vitamins (E, A, and D) as well as the minerals zinc, manganese and selenium. Some forms of Super Nu-Thera® also may include calcium. Its inclusion depends on whether that particular form of Nu-Thera® can incorporate the large volume of calcium required. Forms of Super Nu-Thera® not containing calcium may require individuals to use a calcium supplement if the diet is not supplying the Daily Recommended Values of this important nutrient.

What other forms of Super-Thera® have evolved since the original?

The original form of Super Nu-Thera® was an orange flavored powdered supplement. It is still available as Super Nu-Thera Classic Powder. Other forms now available include:

  • Super Nu-Thera® Powder with 25 mg. P5P. This form of Super Nu-Thera™ features Pyridoxal 5-Phosphate as part of the vitamin B-6 source. This formulation is for those individuals whose physician has determined that the usual form of vitamin B-6 (pyridoxine hydrochloride), is not being utilized completely. Lemon-Lime flavored.
  • Super Nu-Thera® Caplets
  • Super Nu-Thera® Caplets with 25 mg. Pyridoxal 5-Phosphate as part of the vitamin B-6 source
  • Super Nu-Thera® Powder Without Vitamins A and D for those using Cod Liver Oil as their A and D source.
  • Super Nu-Thera® Liquid (Available in Tropical Punch flavor or Raspberry flavor)
  • Super Nu-Thera® Liquid with 12.5 mg. Pyridoxal 5-Phosphate as part of the vitamin B-6 source (Hypoallergenic Green Apple Flavor)
  • Super Nu-Thera® Liquid Without Vitamins A and D for those using Cod Liver Oil as their A and D source (Tropical Punch flavor or Wild Cherry flavor)
  • Super Nu-Thera® Liquid with 12.5 mg. Pyridoxal 5-Phosphate as part of the vitamin B-6 source and Without Vitamins A and D for those using Cod Liver Oil as their A and D source (Wild Cherry Flavor)
  • Hypoallergenic Super Nu-Thera® Capsules
  • Hypoallergenic Nu-Thera® Condensed Capsules
  • Hypoallergenic Nu-Thera® Condensed Capsules without Vitamins A and D for those using Cod Liver Oil as their A and D source

 

Recommended Usage:

As a dietary supplement use 1 teaspoon of powder per day or as recommended by a physician or health care professional. Individual needs may vary based on testing or variable absorption characteristics. For this reason, some doctors and practitioners may recommend higher dosages.
