PROBIOTIC SUPPLEMENT POWDER

Acidophilus is Kirkman Laboratories powdered broad spectrum probiotic supplement. This formulation comprises a scientifically formulated and nutritionally beneficial combination of six microorganisms for "total coverage" of the small and large intestinal tract. These strains work synergistically and in a complementary role in support of gastrointestinal and genitourinary health.

Kirkman Laboratories Acidophilus formulation offers a comprehensive replacement of six well recognized, probiotic strains to support gastrointestinal health. This probiotic supplement is a combination of important "resident" as well as "transient" microorganisms, which contribute to maintaining and promoting a healthy GI tract.

There are numerous factors that contribute to the friendly bacteria (like Lactobacillus, Bifidobacterium and Thermophilus) being destroyed or depleted, which includes:

Environmental toxins/chemicals
Excessive stressful conditions
Improper diet or nutrient deficiencies
Food allergies/sensitivities
Overgrowth of yeasts, bacteria, viruses, etc.
Abnormal permeability of the intestine
Exposure to numerous medications

Acidophilus can be useful to:

Recommended Usage:

As a dietary supplement use 1/2 to 1 teaspoon twice a day. Each dose should be taken 1/2 hour before meals.

Younger Children 1/2 teaspoon

Older Children 1/2 teaspoon

Adults 1/2 teaspoon

SUGGESTED USE / DOSAGE RECOMMENDATIONS:

As a dietary supplement: take ½ teaspoon daily and/or as directed by a medical practitioner.

For children, less then 30 pounds, use one half of the suggested dose and/or follow the physician's specific recommendations. The powder may be added to food or drink if not hot. Refrigerate this probiotic for long-term stability.
