Pro-Immune
Support™ is nutritional formulation supporting the health
and immune functioning of the gastrointestinal tract. This
formulation features Beta 1,3/1,6 glucan in combination
with the well-researched probiotic strain of L. plantarum.
Beta 1,3/1,6 glucan is recognized to have a powerful impact
in supporting the body's immune function. The friendly flora,
Lactobacillus plantarum, provide a scientifically researched
and clinically documented probiotic strain, recognized for
its impressive ability to help maintain gastrointestinal
health and functioning by setting up residence in the small
intestine.
INDICATIONS
FOR USE
The
Pro-Immune Support™ formulation is designed to be used alone
and/or in combination with other probiotic strains to provide
health promoting friendly flora while supporting the intestinal
immune barrier function.
Use
of broad-spectrum antibiotics, improper diet, nutrient deficiencies,
and overgrowth of unfriendly organisms in the intestinal
tract can lead to friendly flora being destroyed or markedly
depleted.
Beta
1,3/1,6 glucan is recognized as a potent nutritional supplement
that has a powerful impact in supporting the immune response
and helping the body defend itself against foreign invaders.
Beta 1,3/1,6 glucan is derived from the cell wall of the
Saccharomyces cervesiae organism, which is a relative of
Saccharomyces boulardii.
SAFETY
The
Beta 1,3/1,6 glucan in this formulation is documented to
be safe, non-toxic, and the purest form of this substance
available.. Although Beta 1,3/1,6 glucan is derived from
yeast it is recognized to be a pure isolate and does not
contain any yeast proteins that can trigger an allergic
reaction. Extensive use of this nutrient has provided well-documented
evidence pertaining to its safety.
LACTOBACILLUS PLANTARUM
L.
plantarum shares many of the same qualities as its close
cousins including L. acidophilus, L. casei and L. rhamnosus.
This microorganism strain possesses beneficial effects by
maintaining and promoting the growth of beneficial bacteria.
Additionally it is recognized as a resident microorganism
and is considered a hearty probiotic strain resistant to
the stresses of the intestinal environment. It typically
resides in both the gastrointestinal and genitourinary tracts.
As
a dietary supplement: take 1 (one) or more capsules
daily. The use of significantly higher amounts should
be used only under the direction of a physician or health
care professional. For children, less than 30-pounds,
use one half of the suggested dose or 3.75 billion CFUs
per day. The capsule may be opened, divided and taken
at separate times during the day.

function. However avoid the use of potent herbs or anti-microbial
foods/supplements such as garlic at the same time as the
microorganisms as this may adversely affect the viability
of the live probiotics.
USE OF INULIN OLIGOSACCHARIDE
Kirkman
Laboratories exclusively utilizes a chicory-root based
oligosaccharide, called inulin, in place of the commonly
used maltodextrin base. Inulin supplies growth factors
documented to support beneficial intestinal flora and
is exceedingly well tolerated by the sensitive individual.
