Beta-1,3/1,6-Glucan is a powerful immune supporting nutritional supplement. This unique compound stimulates the immune response. Its mode of action is by supporting white blood cells known as macrophages.
Beta Glucan is a plant based compound derived from the cell wall of the Sacchromyces ceravisiae organism. It is recognized as a long chain polysaccharide molecule consisting of highly purified glucose. It is different than regular glucose in that it is made up of many glucose molecules linked together in a long branched chain with a specific chemical arrangement in the first and third glucose positions. The frequency and nature of the side chains have been shown to be very important for the biological activity of different beta glucans.

Beta Glucan should be taken at least 30 minutes (or more) before or after a meal. The bioavailability and absorption of this nutrient is enhanced when taken distanced from a meal. The capsules may be swallowed or opened and mixed with food or beverage.
