Kirkman's Hypoallergenic Yeast Aid Capsules

Description

After working closely with doctors and with the guidance of the late Dr. William Crook, an expert in yeast issues, Kirkman has developed "Yeast Aid". It is intended that this product be used only upon the recommendation of a physician to support the immune system and to aid in keeping healthy yeast levels in the body.

Kirkman's Yeast Aid is offered in the hypoallergenic line as #1 plant cellulose capsules. The capsule should be swallowed whole, not emptied out as powder. The reason for this is that these ingredients have a very strong bitter taste and can not be masked without using sweeteners and flavors which are not acceptable for the hypoallergenic line. For those individuals who can not swallow the capsules whole, we recommend the flavored powder version of Yeast Aid.

Ingredients:

Capsule size: Number 1

Ingredient descriptions:

Olive Leaf Extract from olive trees contains a compound called "Oleuropein". This compound has powerful properties. The olive leaf used in Kirkman's Yeast Control is a standardized extract containing 6% Oleuropein.

Pau d'Arco is an herb which contains the compounds "lapachol" and"beta-lapachone". We use a standardizded extract containing concentrates of these two compounds.

Goldenseal Extract has been used for supporting immunity for a long time. Its high concentrations of active alkaloids including berberine, hydrastine and candidine are what makes it effective. Kirkman uses a standardized extract of Goldenseal guaranteeing the concentrations of the active alkaloids.

Caprylic Acid is an anti-fungal. Kirkman uses a stabilized form, calcium caprylate, to ensure gradual release throughout the intestinal tract.

Biotin is a B Vitamin which when ingested can keep yeast from being converted to the fungal state.

Vitamin C is present in Yeast Aid because it supports the immune system.

Cranberry Extract is a special concentrated, patented form of cranberry prepared by a resin based process which yields a concentration of active constituents far more concentrated than other cranberry products. In vitro studies indicate yeast does not like the active constituents in Cranberry extract.

Oregano is an herb of the mint family. An article in the Journal for Applied Nutrition in 1995 (47:96-101) presented scientific studies showing its effectiveness.

Selenium is an immune supporter which produces antibody responses.
